Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Web Sites

There is no question that PullingTheLine.com is the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blog and web resource on the Internet, however, we are aware that other BJJ web sites and blogs exist, and some of them are even worth reading.

Our Favorites

Gracie Mag:  Perhaps the second best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu web site on the Internet, next to the renowned PullingTheLine.com.  Gracie mag, like any worthy competitor, keeps our game sharp.  The magazine/web site is full of fantastic content, and should be (almost) at the top of your bookmarks.

Global Training Report:  The vicarious experience of training at different Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies, and interviewing instructors.  He is so busy, in fact, that he refuses to waste training time by adding a little design to his web site.

Kid Peligro:  Author of the first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu book KingofCrazy read back in 2004 when that was the only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu book available at Barnes n Noble.  Mr. Peligro keeps us all up to date on the latest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu news on his frequently updated BJJ blog.  He also twitters in the event that you have no access to a computer, and an insatiable desire to know exactly what is on Kid's mind within minutes of him thinking it.

NHB Gear Jiu Jitsu Forum:  Ironically enough, NHB Gear has a great Brazilian Jiu Jitsu forum.

Other Great Web Sites

The FightWorks Podcast:  Insightful coverage of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, in podcast form.  Recently provided a forum for the (Renzo) Gracie vs (Torrance) Gracie verbal grappling match.

Grappling-Core:  I'd prefer these guys to take it easy on their advertisements and increase the bandwidth for their videos, but then I would be complaining about watching free grappling matches online.  And I don't complain expect when I see two people try to pull guard at the same time.

Tatame:  MMA and Jiu Jitsu news.  We know it's legit because they have a Portuguese version.

BJJ Hereos:  Good resource for looking up biographies of BJJ atheletes.

If you have a favorite BJJ resource you think should be included, please send us an email.
